Qedit custom control and library suite for REALbasic line

Qedit offer canvas based controls for REALbasic 2006 + that supplement REALbasic’s own controls with several that are missing from the Mac OS X GUI toolbox. The suite also includes two libraries, offering some great new functionality.

The Qedit suite contains:

Qedit for REALbasic

- Action Bar control
provides the white plastic add, remove and action menu control found in many OS X apps. Includes a built in splitter. New to 2.0 – support for custom buttons

- Pill Button control
provides the small white pill button & drop down menu control as found in Spotlight and throughout the OS X Finder. New to 2.0 – support for coloured selection indicator.

- Source List control
provides the source list control as seen in the OS X Finder, iTunes and throughout many OS X apps. New to 2.0 – support for row tags.

- iTunes Style List control
provides a version of the listbox as used by iTunes (with metal gradient headers, alternating row colours and much more) to REALbasic developers.

- Listbox Library
provides several extension methods for archiving listbox states, as well as filtering listbox contents by contents. Archived listboxes can be “expanded” into their original

- Phonetics Library
provides a customised version of the industry leading DoubleMetaphone phonetic mathching algorithm to REALbasic. This version can be taught new matches, and includes built in functions for filtering a listbox’s contents for words that “sound like” a given word.

I bought the full version, but there are many bugs on windows I get a msgbox that tells me that the version of the plugin is not registered. Even if I put the key inside event app.open. Do you have these problems?

I’m using Mac OS only, but try to contact the author tom@qedit.com.au in order to trace the problem.
